Counselling Staff

We know that people who have effectively addressed their own losses are often best equipped to help children who are facing the pain associated with the death of a loved one.

Camp Janus offers a gifted staff who are selected for their ability and passion to help grieving children. The staff's unique gifts are enhanced by their knowledge and skills with children, their choice to work in helping professions, and their courage in modelling having faced their own losses. All staff will be provided with a two-day training course prior to camp beginning.
